About Me

Hello! I haven’t touched this blog in quite a while, so I will be updating it. I am currently taking a sabbatical from University in order to take a road trip across the United States. This trip has been a dream of mine for a long time now and I am excited to share it with all of you. I will be leaving in Spring 2017!!!

I am an avid reader and aspiring novelist.

I love to learn languages. I taught myself how to speak Spanish at a young age.

I have changed a lot as a person since I first began this blog. I hope to document my life experiences through writing.

Also, I would like to thank you for taking your time to visit my blog and reach the bottom of this post. You, dear reader, are why these words exist. I appreciate your time and your opinion! If you have any sage advice, then I beg you to bestow it!

  1. Dreams are goals we seek to fulfill. God has a way of using all our experiences and knowledge in ways that astound us. Many times by putting us in places we never would have thought possible. After many years of doing life wrong (if there was a way to screw life up, I found it), God has put me in the position where I get to counsel Law Enforcement Officers. I get to use my own life as an example to them on how NOT to do life.

    • It will never cease to astound me how God is so gracious as to use our mistakes again and again. I have made many mistakes in my life, but God never prevents me from moving forward. Thank you for sharing!

  2. If you’re a traveller, the best advice I can give you is to learn a little bit of the language of wherever you’re going. Please, thank you, yes/no, ‘where are the toilets’ and ‘I’m sorry, I don’t speak your language’ are the ones I focus on. There are a few others that are valuable. Make a little effort and most people respond well.
